Mystic State: "After dropping our debut album last summer, which was centred mostly around one tempo range, we decided to focus our energy on a project that gave us a little more freedom and enough space to try out some new ideas, without the pressure of keeping a constant theme throughout it. Materials is the result of our endeavours - 4 tracks spanning various tempos, moods and sound palettes. Writing this has kept us somewhat grounded during the madness of the last two years, as well as giving us more confidence in working outside of our respective comfort zones, and we hope you enjoy it."
